The enterprise server is a full deployment version of the test
server, and therefore presents your e-forms in a secure controlled
way to your websites. The Server can deploy your e-forms to a
wide variety of enterprise servers which can be accessed from
web browsers, kiosks, interactive digital TV and handheld devices.
| Presentation
The e-forms developed using IDOX Forms are HTML pages generated
on demand. Based on your design the Server will determine
which questions to present to the user based on the information
that have entered. Hidden from users are the questions or
sections that are not relevant, hence IDOX Forms ensure
intelligent navigation.
The Form Server allows your chosen e-forms to interact
with databases, web services, websites, data files and data
captured elsewhere on your website.

Data Capture
The Server receives data captured by your e-form securely using
SSL and allows you to process it in a variety of ways:-
- Data can be saved in a variety of formats - XML, PDF, CSV,
HTML
- send emails with attachments
- add the data to all major databases including SQL Server and
Oracle
- display a PDF back to the user with their own copy of the
form
The Server also allows applicants to save forms for later completion,
pre-populate forms, and supports attachments to forms.
Deployment & Administration
The Enterprise Service is provided under the JBoss Application Server.
Deploying e-forms is made easy with IDOX Forms with automatic
deployment - either immediately or on a timed basis. Unlike other
e-form applications, there is no need to stop and re-start the
web server.
Finally, IDOX Forms has been designed with built-in statistical
logging functions to aide support.
